Stardict console native version

Console version of StarDict http://sdcv.sourceforge.net/

The application itself is quite old but still usable (suitable for non-unicode and non-html dicts). Here is single executable native version sdcv.exe

you'll need to set environment variable STARDICT_DATA_DIR pointing to your dic folder (of Stardict) or use --data-dir option.

Makedict xdxf to stardict converter

I'm looking for newest jargon dict for stardict, I'm sure have seen it sometime ago on the net but somehow I can't find it anymore. But there is jargon in xdxf format which Stardict should supported already? But stardict (3.0.3) can't loaded it strange...

Then I got this converter called makedict (0.4) from the maker of XDXF but without windows binary.. CMake and build.. so here is:
makedict-0.4.1 or
makedict.exe (static glib)
codecs (need python, extract to where makedict reside)
type "makedict --help" in your command prompt for options
to avoid name conflict please at least use: makedict -d [somewhere exists]
where [somewhere exists] is path to where converted dicts created

Stardict edisi KBBI

Beberapa bulan lalu seseorang bernama Steven Haryanto mengunduh seluruh halaman2 web dari http://pusatbahasa.diknas.go.id/kbbi/ memakai perl (regex?) untuk dikonversi menjadi format IFO (Stardict). Nah aku jadi tertarik unutk membuatkan installer Stardict yang khusus Inggris<->Indonesia; isinya antara lain: Kamus kosakata+sinonim Inggris (US) WordNet, Kamus Indonesia<->Inggris MasNDon dan Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia versi online itu sendiri.

Aspek legalitas: Menurutku versi IFO tersebut tidak bermasalah toh pada situsnya memang diperuntukkan untuk semua orang yang penting namanya tetap sama yakni Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia, Edisi III (2005). Hanya saja tidak setiap orang kan punya internet dan lagi bukunya mahal, jadi ide mas Steven ini patut dikasih 4 jempol!
